Featured Presenter Dr. Peter Pang DDS, MAGD, PA
Local dentist, Peter Pang, is an invited presenter at the California Dental Association (CDA) conference this fall.
Dr. Pang is one of only 19 dentists in the world to be recognized as an Educator with the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Other instructors are mostly found in Dental Schools in the US, Sweden, Germany, England, Japan, Israel, and South America.
Says Dr Pang, “If you consider how many dentists Caroline & I have taught as International Invited Speakers the numbers of patients we’ve impacted is staggering”.
CDA have two conferences per year. Anaheim in May. And San Francisco in September. “Both of which conferences draw tens of thousands for lectures and workshops”. Dr. Pang has been an invited speaker at both of these conferences this year.

Dr. Pang is credentialed to certify Dentists and Dental Hygienists to Standard Proficiency and Advanced Proficiency levels in the use of lasers in dentistry. He is invited to teach at many state conferences and dental schools in the US, Canada, Europe, and Singapore.
Dr. Pang is pleased by how lasers have played a role in his dental practice. “I am most impressed by how lasers enable dentistry to be less painful and less invasive. They significantly reduce bacteria in gums & teeth. I find we have less pain and less swelling from procedures that are performed with a laser. It has also reduced the need for a shot during routine filling procedures by 85% in my practice and in practices that I know who utilize lasers”, says Dr. Pang.
