Dental Restoration
“Man has not yet designed something stronger than Mother Nature’s tooth enamel – so I like to preserve as much of the healthy enamel as possible.”
– Dr. Pang
DENTAL CROWNS
Dental Crowns
Dental crowns may be appropriate for restoring weak or damaged teeth.
They are also an option when you need a large filling. Instead of using metal to make a crown and laminating the outside of the metal crown with a porcelain facing – Dr. Pang uses biocompatible all-porcelain materials. This eliminates the black line often seen at the gum line with so many porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) crowns
One-Day Dental Crowns
These all-ceramic crowns are made possible in our dental office by CAD-CAM Cerec technology.

DENTAL ONLAYS
Preserving more Tooth Enamel
CEREC’s customized fit means that Dr. Pang often can save more of your healthy tooth structure. For instance, where a crown would have been called for, with CEREC, a smaller restoration might be able to solve the issue.
The tighter fit further reduces gapping. So there is less chance for food to slip under the restoration, less chance for infection, less need for root canals.
Typical dental crowns necessitate your entire tooth being drilled down to a tiny peg. The hollow crown is filled with cement and placed on top of your tooth.
DENTAL BRIDGE OR A DENTAL IMPLANT
Dr. Pang may recommend a Dental Bridge or a Dental Implant when we need to bridge a gap between one or more missing teeth.
The bridge is made of two or more crowns that are fused together. These are attached to your existing teeth to restore your smile.
